Nichola Lanzot DVM

Dr. Nicholas Lanzot earned his Bachelors of Science in Zoology from The State University of New York at Oswego in 2010 and his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2016.
During his clinical year, he completed externships at a multitude of zoos including Perth Zoo, Western Australia, Sedgewick County Zoo, Kansas and Topeka Zoo, Kansas where he worked with diverse endangered species including lowland mountain gorillas, cougars and mexican wolves. Between semesters, he traveled to South Africa and Guatemala where he treated wildlife and performed surgeries on companion animals.
Upon graduation, Dr. Lanzot attended an internship at the Veterinary Medical Center of Long Island, West Islip in 2016. His internship training included over 7 specialty departments (surgery, internal medicine, oncology, etc). He then worked as an associate veterinarian at Howard Beach Animal Clinic, Queens New York in 2017. After then he moved to San francisco in 2018 and joined Sun valley in 2019 During the wildfires, he provided aid to Valley Oak Veterinary Center in Chico, California treating and bandaging burn victims.
During his free time Nicholas enjoys wildlife, stand up comedy and physical fitness.
